Please join THE BAND at Sweet Tomatoes (1225 NW Waterhouse, Beaverton) on Thursday, March 18th, for dinner between 5 and 8 PM.   Sweet Tomatoes will generously donate 15% of the proceeds to SAMBA  (Sunset Apollos Marching Band & Auxiliary) !

Sunset's programming team took 2nd place at the State programming competition hosted at Willamette University this past weekend.  Coached by teacher Jason Galbraith, the team brought home Sunset's first  programming trophy in 5 years!

CONGRATS to Sunset's new STATE CHAMPIONS in swimming.  Last weekend, at the OSAA State Swimming Championships, CARISSA BURKE won the 200 yard Freestyle and CAMERON STITT won the 500 yard Freestyle.

Eight Sunset students have named as Finalists in the prestigous National Merit Scholarship Program.  Each year, seniors from across the country compete for scholarships.  Student selections are based on PSAT exam scores, classroom performance, and letters of recognition.  Finalists represent the top 1% of graduating seniors.  This year's Finalists include:  Aniqa Azim, Cynthia Chang, Brett Field, Casey Gould, Amina Rahman, Nevedha Rajan, Jennifer Shim, and Jesse Zhu.
