Sunset High School recently completed an informal study of its parking lots and discovered that a significant number of student parking spaces remain unused during the school day. This unanticipated surplus of parking spaces has afforded us the opportunity to revisit our Junior/Senior-only parking policy this Spring.
Beginning Monday, March 19, 70 Student Parking Passes will be available to 10th grade students on a first-come, first-served basis. Sophomore students with a valid driver's license and a signed registration form may purchase a Parking Pass from Vicki Loveday, Sunset's Bookkeeper, either before school, after school, or during lunches. The cost is $10.00.
Sunset's parking policy will revert back to Juniors/Seniors only at the beginning of the 2012-2013 school year.
