Twenty-one math students competed at the PCC Math Fest on Saturday April 10. The following finished in the top 10% of their subject level and have been invited to the Oregon Invitational Math Tournament at PSU on Saturday May 15th. This is essentially the state championships for mathematics.

Geometry - John Ren

Algebra 2 - Bryce Patel, Jordan Hurwitz, and Cole Hurwitz

Pre-Calculus - Joe Cho, Karen Qu, Amber Tang, and Michele Tai

The team of Cole Hurwitz, Jordan Hurwitz, Lucy Nam and Bryce Patel took first place in the team games competition. Other team award winners were Sara Hays, Michelle Tai, Matt Tauzer, Naomi Shah and Soraya Cansse.
