Two positions are available on Sunset's Site Council for the 2010-2012 school years. Please consider applying. Applications are due to the Main Office by Friday, May 28th, at 2:00 pm. Click here for the application.
Sunset High School visual arts student, Alejandra Dominguez, has been awarded the Beaverton Arts Commission award for outstanding achievement. Alejandra, nominated by Cathy Cain of Sunset High School, is a visual artist enrolled in the two-year International Baccalaureate Art program offered at Sunset. Alejandra has received Scholastic Art & Writing Regional GOLD Key Awards for four years of her high school career. Ms.
For the 2010-2011 school year, parents will now have the option of completing a meal benefits application, (for free or reduced price meals), on-line instead of completing a paper application. Both the on-line application, and the paper application, will be available after July 1, 2010. The on-line application will be on the District website after July 1.

Sunset High School's Booster Club has created the Excellence in Education Award to honor the contributions made by Sunset’s many fine staff members and to publicly express the value the Sunset community places on education as a profession. Supported this year by both the Booster Club and doctors at The Oregon Clinic, the award will include a $1,500 cash prize to be used for professional development purposes.
