Oregon law provides for each school to elect a Local School Committee, whose duties include determination of the use of the property for civic purposes; reporting to the school board concerning progress and needs of the school; wishes of the people concerning the school; and recommend improvements in the school property. Sunset’s LSC is elected by the Sunset attendance area for two year terms. The current members include:
